Kapitel 34: Thinking About Her

Nora hesitated only for a second before nodding. As they drove to his car, she took out her mobile from the shorts and started reading something. Her ponytail was dropped on the other shoulder. Looking from one side, her face was exquisite. She was so concentrated that Alric did not speak a word. But he could not help stealing a few glances at her.

Everyone in this business world would beg for spending a second with her. Girls had always looked spellbound in his presence. Whether people know him or not, he has always attracted their attention. So meeting a person who was not interested was new to him. 

His gaze fell on her elegant neck this time. He stared for a few seconds before gulping and looking away.

"If you think that I am going to fail, then you should not have hired me in the first place." Alric closed his eyes. He did not know how to reply to that question.
