Ryan scanned the room, feeling more and more that something was off. He glanced back at Alice to gauge her reaction, but she seemed oblivious to any anomaly.

Alice was running her hand over the pink drapes, finding the decor a bit eerie.

"Ryan, what's up?" Alice asked, noticing Ryan's uneasy expression. She was curious.

The place felt novel to her,she had no idea the hotel would have such decorations.

Her itinerary was always arranged by Hannah, and she was sure Hannah wouldn't have booked this kind of room for her.

"Uh, nothing, it's nothing."

Ryan quickly grabbed a box of condoms from the table and hid it behind his back. That thing was just too risky,he couldn't let Alice see it.

Alice saw Ryan hiding something and furrowed her brows slightly.

"Did you just pick something up?"

Alice extended her hand, palm up, towards Ryan, clearly asking him to place whatever he had just picked up in her hand.
