Kapitel 104: Golden Goose

Leila arrived at the Cerulean Hotel a little later than other guests. Moreover, she did not want to be a high-profile person. Being in the limelight as a person without a background could bring more trouble than it was worth. 

Luckily, Edgar sent someone to bring her into the hotel through another door to avoid being seen by the paparazzi and reporters. This entrance was reserved for the very important guests who did not want to be in the headlines. 

Leila thought she could discretely enter the banquet hall and enjoy the party and the look on the Campbell family's faces. However, her hope for a peaceful entry ended when she met with Silas Campbell who was also using the same route. 

Her petty glee at the thought of the Campbells' faces evaporated. Seeing a big shot, the person who was sent by Edgar pointed Leila in the direction of the banquet before leaving her with an unpleasant person in a foyer.
