Zoren's only reason for requesting that Penny and he stay in the Bennet Mansion for the time being was that he knew her family would want to take care of her. He could have offered for them to stay at his home, but he thought his in-laws might not feel comfortable moving around his place. Besides, he didn't mind living in the place where his wife would return after their Thursday meetings. Thus, the arrangement was something that everyone was happy to hear about.

Penny was initially pleased with it, as she had been wanting to come home and relax a little. After all that ordeal with her other self, she felt she deserved a vacation. She had stressed herself out. However, now that they were on the way home, she was feeling a bit skeptical.
