Every fiber of his body felt electrified with feverish sparks as the primal, rusty gears in his head began turning him into a hungry beast, ready to devour the piece of meat that had landed on his lap.

However, he might be a beast, but Penny was definitely not just a lump of meat to devour. With heavy reluctance, he pulled away, using every bit of his energy.

Resting his forehead against hers, both of them were breathless. The remnants of alcohol lingered on his taste buds, slightly making him feel intoxicated.

"Penny," he said through gritted teeth, his voice laced with restraint. "Did you drink?"
