The story is wonderful, the details of everything, the characters and their personality, the conversations are lively, making their interactions look real. It's 'low pace' in some moments although may not be of the taste of some readers, grants more details that others(like me) would like so don't worry too much. I would definitely recommend this book, even if you're not a fan of the genre you could get a surprise here.
Shameless self review from the author!! I hear you when you say the flashback is slow but I believe every bit of the flashback is necessary to laying down the groundwork of Leonor von Burien's story. You won't be able to grasp who she is alongside the mysterious duke if things are fleshed out a little bit prior. *it's over at 53 so don't sweat it too much!!* If you aren't a lover of details and slow burn then please don't read! This is for the slow burn fantasy lovers like me. For the lovers of green flag ML's and whether or not appearance matters in the realm of love. #bringbackmaleyearning #yearning2024
What a wonderful story! It has it all; great characters, exciting plot, love, romance, and a great ending. Author, thank you for sharing your novel! I really enjoyed reading it! ❤️
read it. fall in love. love it. well build up and almost perfect ending! (a few extra sidestories for more closure with all of the charachters would make more than a perfect ending)

Queen Frieza has given us a lovely story with characters we can fall in love with. Magic, mystery, first love, revolt and heartbreak - what more can you want? The only downside is that you can't speed read this novel. Every sentence has meaning and no word should be missed. Thank you, Queen, for this amazing adventure.
I only read the 24 unlocked chapters, so can't speak about the whole book. Looks very promising: good characters, good writing. I keep trying to guess if the Duke and the love interest are the same person or different people, but I haven't progressed far enough into the novel to be sure either way. 🙂 I guess I'll have to keep reading. 🙂

this book is amazing. i like the concept of the story. it is not love at firs sight but rather fall in love in the process of force marriages. its fun to read. you cannot guess what will happens next. its so thrilling to read. i gives goose bumps every chapter. i hope more stories like this one. good luck!

Queen is here with her new book and seriously I am just in love with the very different kind of plot and the unique characters she has created. On top of that writing quality is top-notch, fit for a romance novel showing a historical era. The Duke is all mysterious while Valerio is so loveable. Leonor is resilient and I can't wait to see how she will handle her marriage with the Duke and fold the mysteries of Leonor. What I admire about Queen's books is that you will always get a Green Flag ML you will fall in love with. Updates will be fast and she always finishes her books. So you can dive in without the fear of being left hanging. Good luck with the competition, I hope you win girl 🙌
