Kapitel 76: Who are they?

Valerie and Max spent a fair amount of time at the movie theater. They watched a movie, and while her mind was on the film, intrigued by what she was doing for the first time, Max kept his eyes on her.

She felt his gaze most of the time and even caught his eyes from time to time but she tried not to show her excitement and kept her eye on the movie.

After the film was over, he took her to a claw machine but unfortunately, neither of them was able to get a plushie from the machine. She saw it as pointless anyway and ended up buying him a key chain out of the blue.

"This is way better than those stuffed creatures." She said, handing it to him with a straight face. "You won't need to stress over it."

"You got that... For me?" He asked in disbelief. He was seeing it stretched towards him but he didn't expect it so he could not believe it right away.
