The Journey of Suzuki Kyōi: The Secrets of the Chimera
As silence once again descended upon the cavern and the mercenaries began to retreat, Kyōi remained deep in thought, focused on the enigma he had just faced.
The Chimera was a rare creature, but not unheard of in the vast universe.
What troubled him most was not its presence, but the context in which he had encountered it.
"Why here? Why now?" he kept asking himself.
Chimeras were not like common monsters or soulless beings.
They were chaotic creatures, shaped by unpredictability itself, and didn't possess a fixed structure when it came to their divine abilities.
Each Chimera was different, adapted to specific circumstances, much like humans.
Some had abilities tied to regeneration, like the one he had faced, while others mastered control over the elements, shadow, or even light.
There was no clear rule that defined their potential.
As Kyōi pondered this, he realized that the Chimera he had fought wasn't just a random combatant.
There was a reason behind its presence here, a reason that still eluded him.
"A creature like that doesn't act without a purpose. There must be something in this cave… or someone."
As he walked through the remains of the undead and the lingering shadows of battle, Kyōi felt a residual energy in the air.
It wasn't just the echo of the Chimera's divine ability, but something older, almost palpable.
It was as if the entire place was steeped in a dark force that had existed for ages, a presence that may have drawn the Chimera there.
"It might have been sent here," Kyōi reflected. "Or perhaps it was summoned by this force. Whatever it is, I need to find out."
He knew that a creature so powerful wouldn't appear in such an isolated place by chance.
Someone, or something, must have a larger plan, and that Chimera was just one piece of a much more complex puzzle.
As Kyōi tried to piece together his thoughts, he began to reflect on a broader perspective and started to consider.
He began to think it might be because of something the Chimera was seeking or wanted from the planet, Ligma.
Although Ligma was a vibrant and energy-filled planet, like many others in the vast universe, it wasn't a forgotten planet. It was fairly well-known for its unique biodiversity and the many different divine abilities present among the creatures that inhabited it.
But that was it. It was merely a planet slightly above average. Unless the Chimeras had decided to start an invasion to enslave the races within it, there was no reason for them to come here.
"I need to dig deeper," he told himself, resolute in his intent. "If there's a plan in motion, I must uncover who is orchestrating it and what they want."
As Kyōi reflected, a sense of unease washed over him.
"If this Chimera was sent here," Kyōi thought, "then something much bigger is at play."
The thought that this could be the beginning of a war in the sector began to haunt him.
If creatures like the Chimeras were acting in secret, it was only a matter of time before other forces moved.
The balance of the sector could be broken, leading inevitably to a conflict of enormous proportions.
"I must find out," Kyōi murmured, his gaze fixed in the void. "If there's a threat coming, I need to know what's happening."
Change of POV: The Murmurs About Kyōi's True Power
Meanwhile, as Kyōi walked away from the cavern, the mercenaries who had witnessed the battle exchanged glances filled with murmurs.
It wasn't just the victory over the Chimera that impressed them, but the way Kyōi had fought.
His aura, his strength, the divine ability he unleashed... there was something more to that man.
So among the mercenaries, rumors began to spread.
"You didn't see what I saw," said one of the mercenaries, his eyes still wide with disbelief.
"There's no way a mana entity or even a transcendent could do what Kyōi did."
"I know," replied another, equally shocked. "And he doesn't seem to have the average strength of a normal King of Law, but to be even stronger."
They were all stunned by that revelation.
This was because, to most of them, they were ordinary people, and to them, the Kings of Law were legendary figures.
They aspired to become one of them to be feared and respected for their power.
In fact, they saw them as warriors who had mastered cosmic forces, capable of altering the course of battles and maintaining universal order.
Yet, they saw something different in Kyōi… they saw something special.
Even among the Kings of Law, his ability seemed above average, as if there was much more behind his power.
"It's like he's been hiding his true strength," said one of the mercenaries, shaking his head.
Speculation about why Kyōi was on Ligma began to grow.
Perhaps he was in exile? Or was he hiding a secret no one could comprehend?
"He must've gone through something," said an older mercenary. "A King of Law doesn't hide like that. There's more to this man."
The rumors continued to circulate. Some speculated that Kyōi was involved in a secret plan, possibly linked to the Chimera they had just faced.
Others thought his past was dark, that he was hiding deep wounds or an unknown mission.
What everyone knew, however, was that Kyōi was no ordinary warrior, and his hidden presence raised more questions than answers.
The Journey of Suzuki Kyōi: The Beginning of a New Hunt
While the mercenaries continued to discuss and speculate about Kyōi's past, he was already far away, immersed in his thoughts.
The Chimera he had faced was only a symptom of something much bigger, he was sure of it.
But like all important answers, this one was hidden in the shadows.
He knew he couldn't ignore what was happening, nor could he sit idly by while events unfolded.
His instincts told him that time was running out, that dark forces were already in motion.
"I can't stand still," Kyōi thought as he walked along the rocky path that led him back to the surface. "I need to find answers."
Ligma, with all its biodiversity and peculiarities, was just one piece of a larger plan, a cosmic game of powers that was being prepared.
The Chimera couldn't have been there by chance.
Someone or something had called it, and Kyōi had to find out who.
