The standoff lasted for about four or five minutes.

Having lost her patience, Zhong Lingling had no choice but to pull the table over to the bed and then placed the dish on it, saying to Xiang Yimo, "If you don't like me feeding you, then I'm going to the study. The food is on the table; you can eat it yourself!"

After speaking, she walked briskly in the direction of the study.
