KELLY's POV

After Cheol hung up the phone, Shiela emerged in the kitchen and motioned for me to follow her, a warm smile on her face. I did as she instructed. Despite her advanced age... she was a very attractive woman. My mother came to my mind, and suddenly reminded me of her.

Mom used to smile at me like that when her attention was still on me and not on her new husband. I shook my head to brush away that thought and walked behind Shiela, following her.

Now that the sun was shining... I was able to appreciate just how beautiful this place truly was. I'd never lived in a penthouse before, and the view of the entire city from this vantage point was absolutely breathtaking.

‘‘This place is really fantastic!’’ I remarked happily as I switched my attention to the woman standing next to me. ‘‘I could live here for the rest of my life...’’

Shiela gave me a friendly grin and continued walking.
