STELLA’s POV

“Who told you to have a break?” I flinched and stepped back slowly when Aunt Lucy’s voice boomed again inside my room.

“It’s Daniel who informed me…” I mumbled still looking down at the floor.

“I am not allowing you to have a break! Did you see the damages you created? The slutty thing you’ve done to make all of this mess?” Auntie hissed. “You’re going to fix all of them!”

I don’t remember Aunt Lucy letting me have a break even when I was on the verge of my success or even when I was sick. It just make my heart shattered every time that I thought she already accepted me as her daughter.

She’s the only family I have right now but it seemed that money was more important to her than me, her stepdaughter who was giving the only thing she loved. Money.

“But Daniel said---“

“No!” she cut me off. “You have to work harder! The spotlight is turning around from you because you fucked up with all of those controversies!”
