“Help me delete all the false accusations about me,” I stepped a bit backward, lifting my chin up. “Help me clear my name.”

Tyler smirked as he straightened his back and went back to sit on his throne. “Of course, Miss Hemmings. I will help you in one condition. Marry me…”

“No buts. I will help you have to marry me.”

“No! I came here to talk to you not to agree on your proposal. Please, I want to—“

“Can we talk about this in private?” he cut me off. “I want to talk to my future wife. Alone.”

Ben growled. “No! Stella won’t talk to you without me—“ before he could finish his sentence, two of Tyler’s bodyguards locked his arms, pinned him to the ground, and handcuffed him.

“Ben!” I screamed. “Oh my God, Ben!”

Since when did Tyler’s bodyguards enter the room? And how come they overpower a big man like Ben?
