ASHLEY’s POV

Before my hand touched the doorknob, I felt Uno’s warmth seep through my skin as he hugged me from behind, his arms wrapped around my waist and placing his cheek close to mine. “You are wrong on that, Ashley. Very wrong...” He said, his voice so soft in my ear.

“Don’t touch me.” I refused to look at him as I removed his arms around my waist.

“Damn it, don’t go.” He said, his voice was full of emotion.

His hand reached the pearl necklace on my neck that I’ve always worn since he gave it to me, grazing his fingers on my neck and into my collarbones.

“I meant what I said when I gave you this... You are my everything because you are special. And I know that I can get through this, every problem, every trial with you by my side.” He plastered a soft kiss on my cheek making my body quiver.
