Kapitel 133: The Experiment (1) Necromancy

The moon hung low in the sky, its pale light casting long shadows over the snow-covered ground as my carriage rolled swiftly down the road. The rhythmic clatter of hooves and the occasional creak of the wooden wheels were the only sounds that broke the silence of the night. My thoughts, however, were anything but silent. They churned with the events of the past few days, the battle with the goblins, and the experiments that lay ahead.

The northern front had been a proving ground, not just for the soldiers and mages under my command, but for my plans as well. The goblins had been more organized than anticipated, their ferocity greater than we expected. Yet, as I stood on the battlefield, directing my forces, there was a part of me that relished the challenge. The soldiers of the Drakhan house had risen to the occasion, their resolve unshaken even in the face of overwhelming odds. They had fought like the warriors they were trained to be, and their victory had been decisive.
