As Arthur stepped out of the surreal white room and back into the stark reality of their makeshift hideout, he was immediately assaulted by a noxious wave of odors. The stench of blood, flesh, and the slimy carcasses of the Duplicating Slimes hung heavy in the air. The place reeked of violence and decay. Arthur's excitement over the newfound skills he had obtained in the white room was instantly overshadowed by the grim scene that awaited him.

His eyes fell upon the mother's lifeless body, which lay not too far from him. Her form was rapidly deteriorating, and the acrid odor of her decaying flesh mingled with that of the Slime carcasses, creating a repugnant miasma that permeated the room. The sight was gruesome, and for a moment, Arthur contemplated closing his eyes to shield himself from the disturbing image.
