"Shall we begin?" Eliza said in a voice that was devoid of energy as she yawned and but what was emerging from behind her was nothing if not active.

Sylphie just dropped her daggers tightly as she started sprinting across the field under the blazing sun.

"A head on attack? Meaningless." Eliza said as the blood hovering behind her shot down and stabbed into the ground with precise accuracy.

Sylphie dodged and weaved with only the minimum amount of movements and used her dagger to block whatever she could not dodge.

"Hmm? I take that back." Eliza widened her eyes but it soon went back to normal as she fired several beams of highly compressed blood at her opponent.

Blood magic. That was Eliza's magic. It allowed her to manipulate her blood and to some extent, the blood of others.

Though she said blood, it was mainly referring to the component in charge of energy distribution which meant that it could work on non-physical beings too.
