Kapitel 94: A pretty good day

The castle had been bustling with repairs and training for days on end, and while our hearts swelled with pride at the progress, Seraphina and I decided it was high time for a much-needed break. After all, even heroes need a day off to recharge. So, we declared today a day of rest and relaxation. Little did we know, our idea of a tranquil day off would soon take a series of unexpected, and often humorous, turns.

The morning started innocently enough. We woke up to the soft chirping of birds outside the window and the warm glow of sunlight spilling into the room. Seraphina stretched beside me, a contented smile on her face.

"Good morning, Emily," she murmured, her voice still heavy with sleep.

"Good morning, Sera," I replied, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Ready for our day of rest and relaxation?"

"Absolutely," she said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "What's first on our agenda?"
