The air grew thicker as we descended further into the labyrinthine tunnels of the Spider's Den. The walls seemed to pulse with a sinister energy, and the distant skittering of countless legs echoed ominously. Each step felt like it brought us closer to the heart of the den, where the true danger awaited. Our breaths came out in visible puffs in the increasingly chilly air, adding to the sense of foreboding.
Our path led us into another expansive cavern. This one was more treacherous than the previous ones, with jagged rocks protruding from the ground and ceiling. Webs hung thickly, creating a tangled maze. The light from Mage's staff illuminated the area, casting eerie shadows that seemed to dance and writhe.
"This place is like a nightmare," Warrior muttered, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of movement.
Lilith nodded, her wings twitching in agitation. "We must be getting closer to the heart of the den. The spiders here are more organized."
