In a makeshift camp formed by several truck trailers, a group of people huddled together, roasting meat over an open flame. From two of the containers, the faint sounds of crying and wailing could be heard, including the sharp voice of a child.

A young man among them felt his heart soften at the mournful sounds. "Brother Wang, isn't this too cruel?" he asked hesitantly. Even if they resorted to eating human flesh, there were countless corpses outside. Yet here they were, sustaining themselves by feasting on the flesh of the living.
