Crash-a man with a scraggly beard kicked aside the pile of leaves at his feet, his eyelids drooping as he stared blankly ahead.

At that moment, a figure approached him from the opposite direction.

Just as the distance between them narrowed to about a meter, the man suddenly lunged forward, the screwdriver concealed in his palm piercing the newcomer's neck.

The victim's eyes widened in shock as his body slumped lifelessly to the side, a hidden blade slipping from his sleeve.

Seeing this, the attacker grinned, his cloudy gaze scanning the street for his next target.

Just then, a bullet whizzed past his head.

One moment he was a killer, the next, he was killed.

Three men with guns approached, one stepping on the lifeless corpse.

They paused for two seconds. To their disappointment, the body remained still.

"Boss, this is clearly a crazed NPC," said the skinny man beside him. "Why waste a bullet?"
