Kapitel 84: HOLDING ME HOSTAGE

For the first few seconds, the motel room was swallowed in an absolutely deafening silence. Luciano could hardly believe his ears, the revelation hit him with the force of a freight train and everything he thought he knew about the mortal, his life and his family, did not seem true anymore. First, he learned that his mother apparently died the very same night he chose to leave his hometown and now, not only was his father trying to kill him but so was his brother.

Why was everyone trying to kill Giovanni?

The more he tried to process his words, the more his eyes widened in utter disbelief, brow furrowing as he struggled to comprehend the words that had just left his lips.

Did he hear him correctly?

Did he actually just say that the man who just threatened to kill him was his brother?

He searched his face for some hint of… something, some form of unfunny joke perhaps but his face remained frustratingly blank as always.
