Kapitel 77: 077 - From the ashes

After a night where nothing happened, the next morning, Evelyn came down from upstairs with Jason's hand in hers. Dinaia, who was walking in front of them, stopped in surprise. She turned to Evelyn and asked while pointing in front:

"Whose car is that? I saw it Tuesday night too, when I was leaving."

That was the day before yesterday, the day she had been forced to sit at the same dining table as Damien, or Daemon, whatever.

However, Dinaia only saw surprise on Evelyn's face too. Only Jason reacted, as the door of the car started moving up:

"Dad!!"

Evelyn let go of his hand as he ran toward his father who was stepping out in front of Dinaia's wide eyes.

"Hey champion, did you sleep well?"

Jason smiled and nodded at Daemon's question:

"Hm. Mom said you left after you brought me home."

"I have to sleep too, so I went home."

"Where is your home?"
