Kapitel 3: My sister is too clingy

Ten minutes later...

"Brother... What is that sound in your room? It's like a woman moaning or something. Did you bring a woman into your room?" When he arrived at the dining table, he was bombarded by a series of questions from his little sister, Artoria.

Even his father, Ector, shot him an inquisitive glance.

"You should focus on your studies, Artoria. It's adult business; youngsters like you can't interfere at will. Am I right, father?" Kay smirked cockily as he easily dodged her question, picked up his chair, and enjoyed the hard bread on the table, crunching it.

Fuck this shit, the food in medieval times was terrible as fuck. Back in the day, he never bothered with the kitchen; after all, that was "women's work." Soft bread and modern dishes were beyond his culinary expertise.

"Your brother is right, Artoria. You shouldn't ask about the relationship between a man and a woman and should focus on improving yourself instead." Ector nodded, not wanting to taint his monarch's daughter with this knowledge, and agreed with what his son said.

Thanks to that, Kay was saved from their interrogation.

However, Artoria was not someone who would give up and stared at Kay intently.

"I feel the sound is familiar. Who is she, brother?"

"Ahem... Enough, Artoria. It's not your business to know who your brother slept with." Ector coughed sternly, reminding Artoria.

"Now, let's eat," he asserted, eager to shift the conversation away from the awkward topic.

"You will not get away with this, brother," Artoria whispered as she began to take her seat.

She would never let her brother have a chance with another vixen. Moreover, they were not real brother and sister; they were just siblings by name rather than by blood. Thankfully, because of this, she didn't need to hide her feelings and longing for her brother.

In the past, she would have never let this feeling unleash and caged it because she thought they were brother and sister by blood. But after Merlin's confirmation about her true parents and her identity as the daughter of King Uther, she didn't have any guilty feelings about loving her own brother—not sisterly love, but love between a man and a woman. However, she knew that Kay never had feelings for her or even considered her as a woman in the first place.

But she would make their relationship work and let Kay see her as a woman rather than a sister.

Whatever it takes.

...

Midnight

"Persistent as always, sister." Kay smirked as he reclined on the bed with a book in his hand, reading Homer's 'The Iliad.'

He dropped his book on the desk and mocked, "You will not find her here; you're just wasting your time."

"I will sleep with you for the rest of the night," Artoria asserted as she hopped into his bed and snuggled under his blanket without asking for his opinion or permission.

He raised his eyebrows at that. However, he didn't refuse her. It was pointless to argue with a stubborn girl like her. Not only would it waste his time, but it was also pointless. Moreover, it would save his time from Morgan, who liked to sneak in the middle of the night and pester him. With this, he could maintain his noble knight façade with peace of mind, without being bothered by Morgan's seduction or marriage proposals. Unless she was bold enough to have sex with him while Artoria was there, he was confident that everything was within his control.

What could possibly go wrong?

"Whatever, do as you like."

"Sure." Artoria boldly hugged him as she closed her eyes under his embrace.

Kay stroked her blonde hair softly and sighed.

He knew it was just the beginning.

He was not sure whether it was bad or good to have the affection of two powerful women at the same time.

Only time would tell.
