96.5% One Piece: The Strongest Creature / Chapter 193: Two Years Later

Kapitel 193: Two Years Later

Time flew by, and two years passed in the blink of an eye.

In those two years, although the original Summit War didn't happen, the Grand Line—and more specifically, the New World—became incredibly lively.

This excitement didn't include Kaido's three disasters, who were still holding the title of Yonko, nor Kahn's takeover from Kaido's three disasters and the eventual rise of the Five Emperors.

Because during these two years, the New World was injected with new vitality.

And this vitality wasn't like in the past when only one super rookie became famous across the world.

As Morgans called the supernovas of the Sea Circle Calendar 1520 "the worst generation."

When this year's supernovas entered the New World, they quickly stirred up chaos among the pirates, even those beneath the Five Emperors.

In both the original story and this timeline, "The Worst Generation" serves as a golden backdrop to highlight the Son of Destiny.

It's only when compared to the Son of Destiny or the Pirate Emperors that they seem insignificant.

But when facing pirates of similar strength, or even stronger than themselves, the Worst Generation always manages to crush their opponents, even defeating the strong with what seems like a disadvantage.

Just like Shanks, who returned to the Grand Line after Sea Circle Calendar 1510, and Monkey D. Dragon, no matter what they did, they always seemed to be favoured by fate.

Over the past two years, the remaining seven supernovas of the Worst Generation, including Trafalgar Law, who sided with the Marines, charged into the New World, announcing the arrival of a new era at an incredible pace, exciting Morgans to no end.

By 1520, in the second year of the Sea Circle Calendar, Eustass Kid, captain of the "Kid Pirates," claimed the top bounty. His bounty ranked first at 380 million berries, overtaking Luffy, who, with a bounty of 370 million berries, had shot tens of millions higher than in the original timeline.

As for his right-hand man, "Massacre Soldier" Killer, his bounty rose to 200 million berries.

Other supernovas, like X Drake, also saw their bounties break past 200 million berries.

Even Urouge, the "Mad Monk," who had the lowest bounty among them, saw his bounty soar to 280 million berries, surpassing Killer's bounty.

This was because, just as in the original timeline, Urouge defeated one of the top officers of the original "Big Mom Pirates," Charlotte Snack, who was once one of the "Sweet Four Generals," defeated earlier by Portgas D. Ace.

Snack once again became a stepping stone for a supernova, further cementing his shame within the "Big Mom Pirates." Even though Charlotte Katakuri pleaded on his behalf, Charlotte Linlin still took ten years of his life as punishment.

Aside from the pirate supernovas shaking up the New World, Trafalgar Law, whose fate had been rewritten by Corazon, rose to the rank of Marine Vice Admiral, holding a prestigious position in Marine Headquarters.

As a descendant of the D. family, Trafalgar Law's talents were exceptional. Even though he was a member of the Worst Generation in the original timeline, it seemed fate still favoured him.

As the adopted son of Marine Admiral Corazon, Law had valuable connections.

He returned to Marine Headquarters with Corazon and was placed in the Marine Academy, where he underwent training under the former Marine Admiral, "Black Arm" Zephyr, proving himself to be an extraordinary talent.

By the age of seventeen, he had already mastered Marine Six Styles.

At the age of nineteen, Law mastered both Armament Haki and Observation Haki.

This level of talent and progress made Trafalgar Law the most hidden and powerful figure among the supernovas. If the Worst Generation ever went up against Law, he could easily crush them single-handedly. Unless Luffy had some advantage, no one would be able to stand against him.

At the same time, at nineteen, Law—who was born into a family of doctors—displayed exceptional medical talent, which led him to further his studies at the Marineford Hospital.

By the time he was twenty-two, Law had graduated from both the Marine Academy and the Marine Hospital simultaneously, starting his career as a Marine Major at headquarters.

In just two years, by 1520, Law achieved a rapid triple promotion, advancing from major to rear admiral in record time.

This swift rise made him a rare supernova within the Marines.

This was the result of both his strength and his connections!

As an orphan taken in by Fleet Admiral Sengoku's adopted son, Law bore Sengoku's mark.

Having emerged from the Marine Academy and hospital with the endorsement of both Zephyr and the hospital dean, along with his work healing countless soldiers, Law's rise faced no real obstacles.

He became the face of the new generation of Marines, and within two years, Law had ascended to the rank of Vice Admiral—a position with real power in Marine headquarters.

His rapid rise to Vice Admiral even stirred envy in Smoker, who had also recently been promoted to the same rank.

If Smoker hadn't been such a rebellious figure in his early days, he might have climbed the ranks even faster or become the face of the new generation instead of Law.

But there's no changing the past.

Smoker, who still hasn't mellowed out, couldn't have played the political game necessary for such a rapid rise.

In fact, if it hadn't been for his obsession with chasing down the Straw Hat Pirates, Smoker might never have left East Blue.

Once Trafalgar Law became Vice Admiral at headquarters, he was officially transferred to the G-1 branch in the New World, becoming a Vice Admiral with actual authority.

Since the Summit War never happened, Sengoku did not retire and continued to lead from the front lines.

As a result, Aokiji never left the Marines, and the trio of admirals—Kizaru, Aokiji, and Akainu—remained in place.

This altered the fates of two individuals in particular.

The first was "Fujitora" Issho, who had eaten the Paramecia-type Zushi Zushi no Mi (Press-Press Fruit), and the second was Aramaki, who had eaten the Logia-type Mori Mori no Mi (Woods-Woods Fruit).

As for Smoker, his path largely followed the same route as before—he was transferred to the G-5 branch in the New World.

This sums up the two-year journey of the Worst Generation and Trafalgar Law.

Now, regarding the number one supernova on the list: Monkey D. Luffy, the "Straw Hat Boy," responsible for the destruction of Enies Lobby. Much like his foster brother, Portgas D. Ace, Luffy vanished for two full years after arriving at the Sabaody Archipelago.

By July of 1522 in the Sea Circle Calendar, when the second half of the Great Pirate Era was just beginning, the ship built two years earlier—funded by the world's largest shipbuilding company, the "Galley-La Company"—reappeared at the Sabaody Archipelago.

That ship was the Thousand Sunny, which had just been coated and was now ready to dive into the deep seas on its way to Fish-Man Island.

However, before the Straw Hat Pirates returned to the Sabaody Archipelago to get their coating and head to Fish-Man Island, another ship had arrived there first.

Onboard, this ship flew a flag that struck fear into the hearts of all—whether pirates, ordinary people, or Fish-Men.

It bore the symbol of a blue dragon.

This ship carried the second-in-command of the pirate world's new generation, and its dragon emblem had gained notoriety over the past nineteen years.

Whether in the Four Blues or both halves of the Grand Line, everyone knew this symbol.

It was the Heavenly Dragon emblem of the "Cross Family," symbolizing the strongest creature in the world.

And the ship itself was none other than "Grandine," the second most famous vessel of the Great Pirate Era after the Moby Dick.

The "Grandine" was also the flagship of the world's top entertainment city.
