Kapitel 63: Secrets And Suspects

Samson and Thomas hesitated by the door, reluctant to open it.

"Why won't you open the door? They're just here to question us," Aiden said, getting up from the sofa and joining Samson and Thomas.

"Please, don't open it," Samson whispered nervously, sweating as Aiden reached for the door handle.

Thomas, sensing Samson's fear, moved closer and held his hand, whispering, "If you keep acting like this, the police will discover your secret. Stay calm."

Samson nodded, still trembling with fear despite his efforts to compose himself.

Aiden opened the door and Officers Blackwood and Johnson entered.

Officer Blackwood's eyes scanned the room before settling on the teenagers. "Why did it take so long for you to open the door?" she asked.

Thomas quickly responded, "We were busy working on our assignments in the inner room."
