Sebastian turned his body instinctively, and he paled instantly when he saw Winter standing at her door, staring at him with the same shocked face.

He got up instantly, facing Winter who was still staring at him unblinkingly. 

"W-why are you up so late, love? You should be sleeping by now," Sebastian said, but Winter was unresponsive. So he tried to approach her. "You must be sleepy, just go to bed, we have to get ready for another big day tomorrow, right? It's been hectic in the office."

Sebastian tried touching Winter's hand, but the latter slapped his hand immediately, "Who did you call just now, Sebastian?"

"I-It's no one. It's just one of the contractors I need to call for the resort development with Lucien," Sebastian replied, though he knew that Winter wouldn't believe it. So he tried a different method. "Winter, you need to sleep. It's not good for your health."
