"What do you think you're doing pointing a knife to me? Do you not know who the hell I am?" Cain asked, stepping towards me. The rest of the people in the casino were calm, calm enough for me to know they weren't regular people.

"What would you tell him? How you killed his mother and uncle?!" Cain spat out, causing the knife to drop from my hands.

"W-What?" I gasped. How did he...

He gestured his men to grab me by the shoulders, restraining me in front of him. He captured my chin, and stared me dead in the eye. "I knew it! My nephew hadn't forgotten everything I taught him."

I gritted my teeth, "What the hell are you talking about?"

"You don't get it? Think Rowan, why would my nephew be so interested in one of the snakes? Especially one who joined around the same time his mother died? It didn't make any sense, but now I get it," he smiled, sinking his nails into my cheeks.
