Kapitel 12: .
The next day, Moon was at a loss. The water spirits seemed apologetic since they hadn't been able to stop Venus, but Moon spent most of the day sulking and then sent an extra 7 water spirits to tail Terra. It was all she could do - since she'd only attract attention to herself and Terra if a planet, easily one of the most powerful beings in the world, started hanging out with any random mortal. It would be suspicious indeed.
Moon sighed and sagged back into her bed. Things were such a mess. Venus was back, Saturn was dying, and Terra was nowhere to be found.
Suddenly, Moon threw off her blankets.
Nowhere to be found?
Oh no.
Oh no.
Moon stood up, and, without even bothering to grab anything, not even her shoes, she dashed out the door. The path was foggy, as usual, and the grass was slippery with dew, freezing Moon's feet. She skidded down the path until she heard the voice of Terra. "Let me go!" Moon sped up and threw aside the bushes to behold Venus, who was tightly gripping Terra's wrist. For a minute, there was a stunned, awkward silence.
"VENUS!!" Moon yelled, and Venus instantly let go of Terra's wrist, turning to her with a smile. "Moon-" But he stopped at Moon's glare.
"Venus. Don't make things worse. Go."
Venus saluted her and stepped back into the bushes, smiling like a fox. A dark, cynical smile. Terra was rubbing her wrist.
"You'll be mine soon enough, Moon. One day." Then he was gone.
Moon rolled her eyes as he left and turned to Terra, who was crying. There were marks on her wrist. Moon sighed.
"Please follow me, Terra. You can blame me if you want - I'm sorry, this is all my fault - but let me try to pay you back at least."
