"Wake up!" 

The energetic shaking of Leo's arm was exactly what he needed to get back into a conscious state in an instant. 

Light sleep was something anyone would develop by leading a life of danger for long enough. And in Leo's case, not even sleeping in the warm embrace of his lover was enough to lull that instinct. 

Or maybe, the fact that he was sleeping with naked Mei in his embrace was what made him all the more alert to anyone intruding upon their peace and committing suicide by gazing upon what was only for Leo's own eyes?

By the time Leo opened his eyes, he was already scanning the room in search of danger, threat… or hidden presence. 

But besides the very girl in his arm and currently shaking his shoulder while looking out towards their chamber's window… There was nothing else in the room.
