Kapitel 209: Awake
Troy and Jayce, tweens aged 11 and 12 respectively, bore a striking resemblance to each other and also, had the same passionate hobbies for gaming.
They were also brothers whom had jointly promised late last year, to play [A Pirate's Odyssey] together whenever it released.
Considering the game had an online co-op mode, they figured messing together on its adventurous high seas as sworn pirate brothers would be the coolest thing ever.
However, after [Tech Wiz]'s surprise reveal at the gaming convention three months back, both had ended up having a major disagreement.
Whereas Troy, whom was now obsessed with the comics of [Tech Wiz] after picking it up in preparation for its release, leaned towards playing the superhero game, Jayce, his younger brother, was adamant on playing [A Pirate's Odyssey] together.
A brother's oath he had called their promise and rightfully so, at that.

Hey guys (Sigh... here we go again...).
Needed to inform you that January, will be a really erratic month of updates for RTS.
Asides from having my own, main departmental exams to read up for, I've also been really weary in recent memory. I think all the stress is starting to take its toll on me and its at moments like this that I have to remind myself that I might be overdoing it.
Still, I'll try my best to update whenever I can and hopefully, by February, I'll be able to return to a standard schedule of daily updates.
I really hope you'll understand, and as always, thank you, so, so very much for reading and putting up with my inadequacies :)
PREVIOUS NOTE:
My favorite superheroes of all time, are evidently, Spider-Man, Batman and Iron Man.
Tech Wiz is an amalgamation of my favorite traits from the first two heroes with the ingenuity of the latter.
It's also no surprise then, that my favorite superhero games are the 'Insomniac Spider-Man's and Rocksteady's Batman games!
I took heavy, heavy inspirations from those games to make the [Tech Wiz] game, feel as real as possible in the format of a novel setting. I hope I stuck the landing!
And lest I forget, Awake, is inspired by Warbly Jet's Alive!
Still one of the best songs to ever play to the intro of one of the best superhero videogames ever I feel like!!
