He would be very surprised if this wasn't related to the "informant" Brant spoke about. He had questioned the latter on some things on the way here, but he hadn't been able to find out much.

All he knew was that the informant, to many people, was more likely an organization rather than just a single person. In this entire region, the large path of forest they had begun calling the Amazonian Wilds, they had their hands in many pies.

When Sylas asked why it was that they called them by the singular, Brant said it was because everyone was contacted by the same androgynous voice, spoken by the same person every single time. But they found it hard to accept that a single person could have such a wide array of knowledge, it didn't make sense.

This aside, he had already been targeted twice, and even though this wasn't a direct assault against him, it was hard for him to separate the matter entirely. This truly felt like the third time.
