I gave him a dirty look, which he ignored as he walked to his wardrobe to get a change of clothes. I blinked when he started undressing, but I forced myself not to show any reaction.
"So, you're using me as a pawn in your twisted game against your own brother? How low can you possibly stoop?" I managed to utter sarcastically.
He just smirked at me and went back to where he was earlier. He took a cigarette from his pocket and lit it in front of me. If he keeps doing this, I might get sick because of this pest of a man. He was blowing smoke right in my face.
He put the cigarette in his mouth, and I saw the smoke coming out of it. I scowled because even though he was acting like a villain now, it seemed like he was still messing with me. It was like the Zachary I first met was back.
"You have no idea, Laurene. You're just a pawn, indeed. But sometimes, even pawns can change the course of the game," he said, and I could still see the faint smoke as he spoke.
