"I have been waiting for you!"

Alexander Flair greets me with a warm smile while waving to attract my attention, the very man who will be pivotal in my plan. "Uncle Alex? I am surprised you still recognized me after all these years" I shake his hand, his light chuckle filling the air, finding it amusing.

"You have your father's smile and your mother's eyes, kid! How could I not recognize you?" He replies. "Oh, I didn't realize it" I murmur. "How is your wife and son? I heard you retired to spend more time with them" We walk towards his car as he carries my luggage.

"Well, my wife wished to live a life free from the media's scrutiny, so I had to honor her request" He beams. "Dad always spoke of how deeply you loved your wife. I did not realize it was this profound" I tease, feeling a soft ruffle of my hair as I look up at lover boy.
