Kapitel 63: Her trust

For another two days straight,

Keiji would visit with his usual money bouquet and bento. He left the chef and various dishes behind, to assure Lauren could not give them away and enjoyed the lunch by herself. All he cared about was making sure she ate the food he brought, though L never did.

The employees began to question his existence. The whole day, he would spend his time observing Lauren in the office, admiring her from every corner of view. Rosa had to make three or four coffee cups for him as a result. But deep down, Rosa wanted him to vanish.

L did not make any move either. To prevent any suspicion, she remained distant from him and left him to believe things were progressing because of his efforts. "Why don't you go on a date with me? I know a good restaurant around here" Keiji never stopped shooting his shot.
