54.05% SON OF DUNE / Chapter 20: you tell me.

Kapitel 20: you tell me.

Morning came for the Red sietch, and shifts were. Changed the others went on their first shift for the day. Inside the mountain where the king's palace was, the King of the mountain woke up in his bed made of fabric silk and soft bed.

Damon, with his piercing blue eyes, slowly rose from his bed. Standing, he couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation for the day ahead. He made his way to the showers, the warm water washing away the remnants of sleep. Emerging, he wrapped a towel around his waist and another around his head, his long hair still damp.

To the other side of his room was Duncan Idaho's room, and he was given a red Still suit for the Red Fremen. he had gotten out of the shower and was now putting on his Stillsuit. When he walked out, there was a guard next to his door. The man looked Duncan up and down.

" You are wearing it wrong; our suits are different." The Guard fixed his Stillsuit. It seems you are ready. Let's go; it is going to be a long ride. " Duncan simply nodded. He realized they had not spoken with him the day before, but after he was offered the position of Lieutenant, they began to talk with him.

Duncan walked along the halls, and the two guards stood beside the gate. They opened the door, revealing a group of men in red Stillsuits. They all looked at him as he entered. " Ahh, Duncan, how was your sleep?" Damon said. This time, he wore no mask but talked among his men like they were his peers.

" I slept well, M'lord, and I have to say the beds you have here are possibly the best I have ever slept on. And I am excited that you will get to see your family."

" Me too, me too," Jamis looked at the two as they kept on talking, " Gentlemen, the sun is about to rise, and I would like to be in the air before the sun comes. "

" Alright, you heard the captain. Let's go, four men grabbed a box-like machine that was six feet in length. It was all black, and a small window was on the top; inside was blue water, like the blue of the Fremen eyes.

" What is the Box for, M'lord?" Duncan asked. " Do not worry about that; just know it is important to me. And you can stop calling me M'lord."

The Red Fremen around him began to chuckle; Jamis came and tapped his back. " I was wondering when he would say that to you; he doesn't like to be called king; he only does it if you and he are not formal. Either way, he detests it.

Come on, let's go down the hanger,"

Jamis and the rest of the group, including Ducan, walked into the elevator. It was then that the music started playing. " Nice music, " Duncan said. "It is horrid," Jamis said, and the elevator door opened. A guard stood post there.

The man saluted, and so did the group with Duncan. " Your bird is ready, sir; she is clean and charged."

Damion looked behind the group and said, "You heard the man. Let go." when they were leaving, every man in the hangar stopped working and saluted to them. " Jamis, you fly the bird. And don't forget to put the cloak on.

Jamis nodded at the command and got on the bird. The bird they spoke of was an Ornithopter, which was customized with a harder and lighter material. The bird could fly through the storms of Arrakis like a fish swimming in the ocean. The best thing about the bird is that it did not use spice for power. Instead it used an arc reactor in the base of its belly.

Jamis clicked multiple buttons, and the bird came alive; it was silent; even when the wings beat and flapped, it was silent. " Are your Ornithopters usually this quiet?" Duncan asked, " You tell me, Duncan, it's all thanks to the man beside me." Jamis said as he pointed to Damon, who had his eyes closed and lying back as he listened to music in his head.

"It will be a five-hour ride, Duncan. I would say get comfortable, find something to do, and maybe share a war story; we have many of them, but we wish to hear yours.

After a few minutes, the bird lifted from the ground and flew into the sky. They flew low to avoid the satellite over Arrakis. Jamis once more clicked a button, and the bird's exterior reflected the surroundings.

Back in Arrakeen, Paul had just woken up and was walking along the hall. He entered his father's office, where honorary members like Thufir Hawat and Gurney Halleck stood; even his mother was in the room.

" Duncan has yet to return from his mission of contacting the Fremen, Duke Leto said. Looking at Gurney, " M'lord, this is Arrakis. He could be lost, but I doubt that I should say we sent a search party to look for him.

Paul had just entered the room, and to the side of it stood a man with dark skin and braided wool hair. " What say you, Dr. Kynes? You have lived among the Fremen." Duke Leto said. " aye, I have lived among them. And I know for a fact your Man Idaho is not dead. Last I heard, he was challenged to a duel and won.

That means he is a member of a sietch. But it was said he stayed with the Fremen for a week and was taken. By the red ones

A murmur went through the room, and Hawats eyes went white, trying to analyze what was said. " The Red ones or the Red Fremen they have a leader called Blood worm the one man who brought Galssue Rabban near death.

At that gurney, Halleck's scar itched. " Would they kill him? Dr. Kynes? " Duke Leto asked. " yes, no, maybe it all depends on your men, but they are Honorable. They may have been exiled but have protected other Fremen from the Hands of the Baron."

Duke Leto wanted to believe that his man was alive, so he gave himself hope.

One more hour, and it would be midday, and it was time for him to survey the land and see how many spice crawlers were out there.

" Alright, then, we can move to the original goal for today. I want to know how many crawlers are out there getting spice. We need to satisfy the other great houses." Duke Leto said. He walked from the front of the table and left the room to the lockers.

A while later, Paul and his father came out of the lockers; Paul wore his stillsuit perfectly while his father made minor mistakes.

Dr. Kynes came to the duke and said. " You have strapped it wrong. it needs to be tighter to be able to collect your body's water. it needs to feel like a second skin not another piece of cloth on it.

The Duke nodded, and Dr.Kynes began to help the Duke. She grabbed the Lapel and fixed it. She brought out the filt from around his back and placed it in his hand. He then went to Paul and saw how he put on his suit, and it was as if the Fremen had done It.

" Have you ever put on a Stillsuit before? " Kynes asked. " No," Paul said. Kynes began to speak in Chakobsa, and it was then that Lady Jessica came out wearing her stillsuit. The Duke Leto looked at her and was surprised to see her.

He wanted to speak. But then gurney Halleck came to him. " M'lord we have a bird in the sky." And that was true; the Ornithopter showed itself to the Atreides army down below, the shield wall down, and the bird landed in the courtyard next to the Ornithopter the duke was going to fly.

Kynes saw the symbol and knew who it was. " He is here." Kynes said, and the Duke asked, "Who is here, Dr. Kynes.?"

There was only one name that came from his mouth. " Krelln."

" Krelln, also known as the blood worm, sire, we need to leave. This is a dangerous man." Gurney Halleck said. " Do not worry, Lieutenant Halleck, you have not provoked him; he is only here to meet you." Kynes said.
