Muttering under her breath, "Xing Liehuo, you shameless bastard!"

In the temporary dormitory for the female military officers undergoing parachute training, Chang Xinyi took an umbrella knife out of her luggage.

With one swift pull, a cold gleam flashed, sharp and dazzling.

"Wow, Sister Chang, this umbrella knife is so cool!" her roommate, another female officer, exclaimed.

With a glint in her eye, Chang Xinyi's face showed a touch of pride, "Yep, this is a multi-functional dagger. It can slice through iron and chop through steel. Do you know who has used it before?"

The female officer leaned in closer.

Emblazoned on the knife handle were the words 'Red Thorn', the standard-issue personal weapon for members of the Red Thorn Special Combat Team—

"Wow!" She reached out excitedly to hold it but Chang Xinyi quickly stashed it away, then with a change of tone, smiled, "Are you interested in joining me to take a look at our parachuting heroine?"
