Xin Ni saw Cheng Yu leaving and quickly stepped forward to block her way. "Don't go! You can think it over! Proposing a trade with you isn't some nonsensical ravings without reason."
Cheng Yu slightly raised her chin.
"They say city people are proud, and that's especially true for those from the big cities, so full of arrogance!" Xin Ni said with a smile as she criticized Cheng Yu, before steering the topic back to the trade. "You want to get close to that man, but as it stands, you can't even get into the military base on your own. Without access to the base, there's nothing to talk about."
"What does this have to do with you?" Cheng Yu frowned, her face showing disgust for the first time. She hated it when others guessed her thoughts and disliked even more when someone used threats to engage in so-called trades with her.
