Using all the willpower I could muster; I quickly dodged the bullet shot coming from the formerly-sleeping beauty—Professor Kala's large handgun. The bullet I dodged instead hit the nearby couch, but it was powerful enough to shred the spot where it struck!

I was in a state of panic, having just dodged a bullet meant for my skull. My heart pounded furiously in my chest, the adrenaline coursing through my veins. Because of the small space between the couch where the professor had been sleeping and the coffee table, I couldn't help but bump into the latter and stumble, falling backward onto the office lounge's floor.

Unfortunately, it was not the time for me to relax as I could still sense danger emanating from the dangerous white-haired woman...!
