All of a sudden, No. 450 got close to me again, her face inches away from mine as she tiptoed to rant and express how angry she was about this rowdy faction's existence.
"Whoa! Whoa! Too close, lady!" I was quite taken aback by her sudden burst of emotion as I quickly grasped her shoulders again and pushed her back a bit. "Okay, okay, I get it! They're a problem for you guys, right?"
I tried my best to calm her down, but she still had a fire in her eyes that spoke volumes about how much she loathed the Barbatos Group.
"The Barbatos Group has created so many problems for us," she began, her voice tinged with frustration. "They run all sorts of racketeering schemes that we have to bust regularly. They spread illegal items throughout the army, causing chaos and disorder. They even occasionally ransack public grunt facilities... They're a constant thorn in our side, undermining everything we stand for!"
And of course, he put out the same excuse as before.
Well, I hope you enjoyed these semi-relaxing chapters.
Stay tuned for more~.
