Ethan's heart pounded as he took aim again. Now, the Shadow Behemoth and the Guardian had rejoined the battle after being tossed aside by the giants earlier. Their bodies bore wounds that would have incapacitated a human, but they continued to fight as fiercely as before, now joined by the black dragon.

Ethan felt a sense of calm in his heart, knowing his companions weren't human and wouldn't die or stop moving in the midst of such an important battle.

The sight of his allies regrouping and launching their combined assault against the two giants filled him with renewed determination. The black dragon, the Shadow Behemoth, and the Guardian all attacked in unison. Their coordinated strikes creating openings for Ethan to exploit.

The black dragon roared, its claws slashing at one giant's torso while its tail whipped around to strike the other. The force of the dragon's attacks dented the giants' armor, causing them to stagger under the relentless onslaught.
