They couldn't even devise a plan to draw David out; David simply didn't make any external contact. 

The seed players considered attempting to ambush other members of the Twilight Guild to find David. 

But, as expected, besides the two vice presidents, David didn't care about the other members of Twilight at all; if trouble happened, it happened. 

Mainly, Sterl felt that Twilight wasn't worried about recruiting new members right now, so why should he play babysitter to rescue them? It was ridiculous! 

Let those unfortunate souls fend for themselves; it would instead allow them to recruit stronger guild members. 

As a result, the seed players felt that David might actually make it to the finals without a hitch.
