Kapitel 4: 4 : The Infinite Tower Part : 2
Mika checked his status more curious than disappointed .
He did not know if the values given were either high or low but they looked good enough .
The bracketed values were probably the ones he could achieve using his augmentation skills but he wondered if the values represented here were for the him of now or the him before he died .
[[ PLEASE WAIT AS YOU ARE TRANSPORTED TO THE MAIN GOD REALM OF THE INFINITE TOWER ]]
He felt the presence that had once pushed back the darkness started to recede until it enclosed him once again .
IT felt like he was being squeezed tightly until he popped , disappearing from the darkness .

LOCATION : THE CAVE OF GENESYIS
TIME : EARLY MORNING
POV : MIKAEL
A sudden influx of senses overwhelmed Mika , smell , touch , sight , sound . It was all very disorienting .
He could hear the buzz and chatter of the countless other humans beside him , the feel of the dirt that covered his very sensitive skin , the blinding light that overwhelmed his sight and the minute taste of blood that covered his mouth .
Mika shot off from the ground his eyes quickly re adjusting to the light and he could see the countless human bodies covering the entire floor , some of them were already leaving .
Exiting from the , ... cave ?
He wasn't sure , but it looked like one . Looking around , they seemed to be in a large nexus point where the other pathways congregated a this point.
He could see other pathways leading further into the cave system and the other one with the only light source where the contestants were exiting .
Mika sat back down , regulating his senses to an optimal level and he could already feel the difference from this new body of his .
He felt weaker . He had returned to the state he was before the cybernetic enhancements were added to his body .
It was both a liberating feeling and at the same time disappointing but , he would adapt to the new feeling soon enough .
Good enough though was that without the enhancements it meant that his emotional blockers were gone and that was both good and bad for him .
Bad in that his emotions would be going from 0 to 100 in an instant and good in that he would not have the feeling of that machine shocking his brain into apathy .
The only true disadvantage of the experiments he had under gone was the fact they they removed any and all emotional limit he had on his mind .
Meaning he could be laughing like a madman in one second and crying in the other but he would handle it . IT was him .
It took Mika a while to adjust to his new body , 30 minutes to be exact but he was one of few people still in the cave .
He didn't know why though but one of the other people was giving him a weird feeling , almost a sort of tangible Intent that he could feel radiating from here .
Yes , some of the others also had this but her`s was different .
More vibrant ,more explosive . As if it would burst out furiously in the future . Another one of his ability derive from his innate talent .
He could feel intent .
That's why , when he finally stood up he approached the body ,identifying it was female .
If he was going to get an ally this early on why not acquire the one he could easily influence . She was covered in dirt but he could clearly see her features as she was lying face upwards .
A light caramel skin tone , slightly amber eyes , brownish hair and very tall about 5'10 if he was being precise but , what truly caught his attention was the look in her eyes .
The same life less look he once had , the same anger and hate vailed behind denial . But what was even worse was constantly knowing that she would never acquire her revenge on whoever had made her like this .
The prospect of having the chance to get revenge and failing , it was the most shattering feeling in the world and he could understand how you would feel like after it .
But where others saw a roadblock , Mika saw an opportunity .
With the information the being had given him ,It was likely possible to visit your home planet if it was telling the truth .
it did say this realm was connecting other random realms and he rather believe that the being was not lying on that part .
"Don't you want Revenge ?! "
The woman finally seemed to notice him . As if her mind had been on a far of journey .
Her body trembled slightly as her eyes started shaking , in search of something in his own blue eyes
"How long are you going to wallow in your guilt . Are you going to let him get away with this !"
For the most part he didn't know if whoever had wronged her was female or male but with the look she had it would be someone very close to her .
Probably a best friend or a potential boyfriend so he was just giving it to chance that it could be either .
Mika didn't really need to be correct though , he just had to make sure that she knew he understood her pain and try to turn it devotion in the long run .
A broken mind is an easy to influence mind . Was doing this wrong , yes ,yes it is .
Her eyes looked shocked , worried ? Maybe a mixture of both .
This was good , now all that he needed to do was to get her to believe that he could help her .
And that was the beautiful thing about revenge ; it blinded you , it made you so laser focused on that very goal that you ignored everything else .
"I can help you , you can make him pay , suffer for what he's done !"
She was now looking at him , hopefully, no ... curiously ? That was strange but it didn't matter , her attention was now on him and that's all he needed for now
" All you have to do is take my hand and I will help you ! " On what basis was he telling her this , NONE .
But would someone desperate care if he was lying to them , NO.
The lady started to think , as he could see the gears turning in her mind in contemplation . It staid like this for long enough that he started to think that he might have failed before the lady once again looked at him and blue met amber .
She was searching for something , possibly assurance or maybe signs of deceit after which she finally took his hand .
Mika lifted her up and tried giving her what was most likely a kind smile or at least his best attempt at one but she remained closed off still untrusting but it was okay , progress was still progress no matter how little.
''My name is Mikael , what about you ? "
She looked shocked that he had told her this , but then her features finally relaxed as if she had started to believe his words . " You should never give anyone your name . They might curse you !"
She said almost seriously or was she joking , her eyes were blank and her face was still stone cold .
Was this her way of not telling him her name , or was she being serious and it was just a thing from her home planet , he didn't know .
He was about to tell her she didn't have to give her name as it was also clear to him that he was walking on very thin ice , if he wanted to slowly control her , he would have to be patient .
"I'm Zoe " she finally said surprising him but it was good enough , fake or real name progress was being made .
" Good to be working with you Zoe ! " He smiled slightly and she squeezed his arm in response .
" We should go "
He finally told her releasing her arm as he started going towards the caves entrance . Why he could so confidently leave his back unprotected to a stranger , the answer was floating right in front of him .
[[ SAFE AREA !!! ANY ATTACK WILL CAUSE ZERO DAMAGE }]
But , he really needed to hurry up . The others already had an advantage on him with their early dispersal and he needed ta catch up.
He had the feeling that whatever would happen next , would only be the beginning of a very long challenge .
His chest ballooned with excitement as he stood at the cave entrance .
The golden rays of sunshine felt angelic to him , touching his now again sensitive skin and he could not help but open his arms wide as if in praise .
Mika felt his chest burning , a certain emotion feeling his entire being . It was overwhelming , suffocating but he did not wish to suppress it .
YES , he would suppress it no longer . He refused to be suppressed from now on .
"Isn't it beautiful ! " Mika was gazing at the long lush forest in front of him . The trees were huge and crowded , almost causing zero light to touch the ground .
His words were directed to Zoe and he could feel her judging eyes on him . They had never left him but this time they felt judging as if she was questioning her decision to follow him but who was he to judge .
He also did not think he was very sane in the head . But she still nodded her head in agreement and stood beside also eyeing the forest .

Mika finally smiled feeling the rising tide of excitement . Yes he would win this , he would come out on top as he always has , why ?
Because it was him .
" This is going to be fun !"
