Kapitel 118: Confession

"I- I don't know." I admitted quietly before glancing up at Kenny who was rapping his fingers against the counter. He exhaled slowly as our eyes locked and then he let out a low chuckle.

"That's funny because… I also don't know as well." He revealed quietly and once again, I realized that we were utterly fucked.

I stopped slicing the vegetables and walked towards him to pause in front of him. His hand cupped my face and his thumb brushed over my chin, and a rush of feeling flooded my lungs as his eyes bored into mine.

"I don't think I want to imagine him leaving our lives. I'm sorry." I whispered, my heart clenched tightly in my chest and my eyes filled up with tears. Kenny leaned down and kissed my eyelids before the tears could fall, and something familiar filled up his eyes as he spoke.
