Kapitel 23: Kalibak

Stopping in mid air, Nathan immediately connected to the A.I version of himself he had left with the team in case they needed his help.

He made a hologram version of himself appear inside the ships to address the team.

[The cavalry indeed] Nathan said with a smile

"How is the situation down there?"

[Contained for now, however, I don't recommend you guys coming down here yet, One of them has an incredibly sharp sense of smell, he may alert the rest and Darkseid may sense our actions before hand] Nathan said

"Logical but what about these aliens, they may have been quiet through out the journey here but I don't think all of them are friendly" Flash asked

[I'll take care of that] Nathan assured then disconnected from the ship

With a smile on his face, Nathan turned to look at the enemies who had just dispatched Aquaman and were heading directly for him.

Growing a shield from his body and a long sword, Nathan was ready to deal as much damage to avenge all the pain, his teammates had to suffer.

They had endured all heaven and hell just for the purpose of making time for the team sent to Apokalips.

With the sword and shield in hand, Nathan welcomed all the attacking enemies. First to reach him was a massive being with weird bull-like horns mounted on his head, Steppenwolf.

Treating him like a bull, Nathan dodged his charge by an inch then proceeded to hit him on the back of his neck with the hilt of his sword using all his might.

The hit sent the charging bull straight into the water where an Angry Aquaman was waiting, giving him a kick that sent him flying back towards Nathan.

Without even much hesitation, Nathan sent the New God back to his home planet. Following that were the Female furies who, for some reason, preferred not to help Steppenwolf, the girls charged towards Nathan, some much faster than anticipated but he could manage.

Nathan with the help of Aquaman managed to parry and send the freaks back to their home planet, taking care of them wasn't the hard part.

They, when compared to Darkseid were just canon fodder… well the exception was Big Barda who was as strong and fast as superman but luckily, both he and Aquaman had superman-level abilities.

Punches and kicks were thrown but Nathan and Aquaman parried them expertly, Nathan because he could predict their moves before they make them and Aquaman simply because of experience.

The opposition clearly had more experience after all they were gods and only them knew exactly how long they had lived.

Fighting and simultaneously configuring a father box that wasn't his own to open boom tubes was one of the hardest things Nathan had done but if he wanted to live then he would have to do it.

"You have proven yourselves powerful, Mortals, Let Kalibak show you want power truly means" An animalistic looking man appeared before Nathan as soon as He and Aquaman finally sent the last of the Female Furies back to Apokalips
