Kapitel 6: Demon Seed of Mind
Everyone was staring at the five leaders on the stage with respectful looks.
"Wei Lan!" A voice echoed throughout the arena.
A boy with a noble temperament stepped up onto the stage. Liang Feng recognized the boy as he was the one who asked the question about the demon seeds.
Taking his eyes off of Wei Lan, Liang Feng saw that all five leaders raised their hands.
Everyone was surprised to see that all five people raised their hands. This meant that this kid named Wei Lan was exceptional.
Wei Lan smiled after seeing the results and calmly walked towards the leader of the Seed of Mind, and jumped up and stood behind him.
"Call out more names!" A lazy voice sounded from the Seed of Essence's leader.
"Next! Zhang Fan!"
Liang Feng watched as person by person got called up. No one had all five raise their hands like Wei Lan, so Liang Feng was slightly bored knowing that many here don't have genius level talent.
"Liang Feng!"
Hearing his name being called, Liang Feng calmly stepped forward onto the stage and stood there as he looked at the five people in front of him. He was quite surprised seeing that only one person raised their hand, and that was Li Chi, the leader of the Seed of Mind.
He was very confused as to why only Li Chi raised his hand, but instantly thought of his weak cultivation.
Indeed, Liang Feng was not an expert when it came to Cultivation until he became a robot. He couldn't even refine Qi, but getting to the second stage of Qi refinement in a week is a feat for any genius. If they knew this, I'm afraid they would think twice before picking him.
Looking at Li Chi who was raising his hand, he slowly walked towards the Seed of Mind and stood behind him.
"How peculiar." A lazy voice sounded out. Liang Feng saw that it was from the Seed of Essence's leader.
'This kid, his body is quite strong, but he's only a second stage Qi refinement.' The man thought, and looked back at the stage. 'Though, that's what makes him special.'
"Continue on!"
"Mu Chen!"
"Dong Wei!"
"Guo Wei!"
"Lin Shou!"
"Ning Chen!"
Names continued to be called as Liang Feng and everyone else was just watching on the sides. There were only 37 students left after the three exams, so it was a fast process.
After 10 minutes, everyone was selected, and standing behind either Li Chi, the leader of the Seed of Mind or the other four leaders.
"That concludes the 37 new recruits we are receiving today." Gu Xuan said, sounding pleased that this whole ordeal was over.
Li Chi looked back at the 7 new disciples that he recruited and nodded his head. "Although you guys aren't many, you guys have potential to be a great seed in the future. All of you follow me." He said and started walking away.
Seeing this, everyone followed behind Li Chi.
Liang Feng was feeling excited as this was the first time he actually got accepted in a group. After all, many people wouldn't even befriend him because of his weak cultivation talent.
They walked out of the colosseum and started heading east.
After walking for 10 minutes, they arrived in front of a tall building. The building looked to be five floors high with an open door in front. There were some pillars in front and the building itself had a mystical vibe to it.
Walking inside, Liang Feng and the rest could see a lobby and a spiral staircase leading up to the different floors.
"Each floor represents the year you are in. 1st years go to the first floor, 2nd years to the second floor, etc. If you guys have any questions, you can ask me or Master Zhi who runs this place or one of the other masters in the sect. Don't forget, you are in the Seed of Mind now. I expect everyone to behave accordingly and not do anything stupid as my eyes and ears are everywhere." Li Chi said in a commanding voice and quickly left.
After Li Chi left, everyone dispersed, leaving Liang Feng in the lobby.
Liang Feng decided to grab a room first before the others.
Walking around on the first floor, Liang Feng noticed that most rooms were taken.
He walked to the end of the hallway and found an empty room with no occupant inside. Opening the door, he went in and could see a plain room. It was very simple. On the right was a bed, on the left was a desk and a drawer. At the corner of the room was a mat.
Putting his stuff on the bed, Liang Feng sat down on the mat and crossed his legs, beginning to cultivate.
However, before he could even start, there was a knock on his door.
Opening the door, he saw Wei Lan standing outside of the door with an embarrassed face.
"Hello." He said awkwardly.
Liang Feng looked at him rather distant and didn't say anything.
Seeing that Liang Feng didn't say anything, he continued speaking.
"My name is Wei Lan, and there is only ten rooms on the first floor, but three of them are damaged and destroyed. Do you mind if I can live with you?" He asked.
Liang Feng pondered for a second.
'Well, I will be working on my puppets so it wouldn't be a good thing…' Liang Feng thought.
'But having a genius as a friend and a trustful companion might come in handy later on in life.'
He looked at Wei Lan again and nodded his head.
Wei Lan sighed in relief after hearing his agreement and instantly entered his room and put his stuff on the right side of the room.
'Well, it's good I got a room, but…' Wei Lan looked down at his chest for some reason.
"Umm, quick question. Can we get changed and have baths privately? Or like on a schedule?" Wei Lan asked, as a blush crept up on his cheek.
"Uh, aren't we all men?" Liang Fend said subconsciously, but then agreed.
"Sure."
Wei Lan looked relieved after hearing that. He sat down on the bed and started cultivating.
Liang Feng returned back to his spot and sat down on the mat, crossing his legs and started to cultivate as well.
