Kapitel 3: Down at the Police Station
Izuku was taken to a lobby where he was told to wait, soon someone would come and talk to him. Still in shock and scared, Izuku turned to one source of comfort, videos of All Might. Pulling out his phone he began to watch his videos, after a while Naomasa walked into the lobby, "A fan of All Might?"
Looking up, Izuku nodded, "Yeah, he's my favorite hero."
"I see, he's my favorite too. Izuku, listen, is it okay if I ask you a few questions? After you answer them Mr. and Mrs. Bakugo will be able to take you home." said Naomasa.
"Okay." said Izuku in an empty voice.
"Do you know if your parents were fighting or arguing the night before?" asked Naomasa.
Izuku tilted his head, "No, they rarely argued."
Naomasa nodded, "Has your dad ever hurt you?"
Izuku's eyes widened when he noticed what Naomasa meant with that question, "You think dad had something to do with mom's death?" Naomasa stayed quiet which only confirmed Izuku's suspicions. Getting up from his seat Izuku balled his fist, "You're wrong! My parents loved each other, dad wouldn't ever do something like that."
"I believe you, you want to know how? My quirk, I can tell when someone is lying and what you just said was the truth. But there were no signs of a struggle or even a break in. the only ones in your home were your mom and dad." explained Naomasa.
"Still my dad loved my mom! Even after they found out I was quirkless they still loved me!" yelled out Izuku through sobs.
"You're quirkless?" Naomasa then got a call on his phone. After the call he turned to Izuku, "It seems like the paperwork is all done. You will be staying with Mr. and Mrs. Bakugo for the time being. Come, I'll take you to them."
Now under their care Izuku went home with them. "Izuku dear, if you need anything just tell us. You can have the guest room. It may be small but it should work out." Said Mitsuki.
Izuku simply nodded and responded, "Thanks auntie…" before going back to looking out the window.
