Kapitel 56: Ch. 54 - The Great Pretender is invincible?
Among the two, Leo was the first to reach the large fireball that Te Ka threw at them.
'I can take it on!' Without any fear and having the absolute confidence in the Panther Habit.
Meanwhile, behind him, Maui was about to dive in and intercept the incoming fireball that threatens Leo, or at least that's what he thought when Leo finally collided with the large fireball.
Much to Maui's shock, the expected defeated Leo was nowhere to be found, instead the entire large fireball was smashed into pieces while Leo's momentum just slowed down for a bit.
As for Leo's current state? Except for the glowing purple line on his Panther Habit, nothing much happened to him, he's still grinning like a possessed madman under his mask.
'This feeling....It feels so good!' Right as Leo said this to himself, Te Ka was already in front of him, both of them facing each other while their eyes met, one containing nothing but rage and fury while the other was simply enjoyment and exhilaration.
"Rroooaaaarr!" Roaring in anger, Te Ka swept her entire hand towards Leo, who shifted his body mid-air, slipping through the fiery fingers of Te Ka, before finally cocking his arm back.
'Detroit Sma- wait wrong line.'
As soon as Leo's fist connected with Te Ka's face, he also released his recently obtained kinetic energy on the tip of his fist.
*BOOM!*
With a loud clap in the air along with the sonic whistling, half of Te Ka's face quickly exploded into tiny pieces of lava that landed on the ocean.
Behind Leo, Moana and Maui's faces were plastered with shock. They didn't expect Leo to be this strong. Using only one punch to deal huge damage to Te Ka.
"Does that mean I'm weaker than him?" Having faced Te Ka before and knowing her strength, Maui could be said to be in the state of judging his own capabilities.
Now that he's also nearing Te Ka, Maui saw Te Ka's face quickly recovered, though she doesn't seem to like that her face exploded into half.
"ROOOAAARRR!" In her anger, she did something that Leo never saw in the movie.
She just spewed lava towards the unsuspecting Leo.
'She can do that?!' Unable to react in time as Leo was swimming on the ocean, he could only cover his face with his arms and let the lava hit him on his entire body.
This time, Leo felt the burden and the heat of the lava despite being inside the suit.
'That's fucking hot!' No, Leo wasn't commenting about a woman's smoking hot body, he's talking about the lava pressed on his entire body, which turned into an obsidian, which just increased Leo's mass, making him fall down deep into the ocean.
Thankfully, the suit already has a built-in function that allows him to breathe under water despite having no oxygen inside. Leo doesn't know how it works, maybe the suit is converting the water into oxygen, who knows.
It just works. No need to know how.
*Crack!*
Using his hands, Leo kept smashing the obsidian that is sticking to his body, crushing it piece by piece until it eventually went off.
After that, Leo quickly swam back up to the surface.
*Splash!*
Reaching back out, Leo looked around and saw someone flying around Te Ka.
It was Maui, who was doing his best to contend against Te Ka. However seeing how his left wing is burnt slightly and his face screams exhaustion, Leo knew that Maui would soon give out and lose against Te Ka, which is something that Leo doesn't want to see.
'Fuck, I need a lift.' Leo cursed in his mind.
"Need a lift?" Speaking of the devil, the Black Pearl suddenly arrived behind him and when Leo turned around, he saw Moana smiling at him while throwing a rope in his direction.
Taking a hold of it, Leo soon climbed to the deck and saw Moana sailing the entire Black Pearl all by herself.
Although doing it is very hard but it is still possible, hence Leo was impressed by Moana's feat.
'Of course, the credits should be mine, I taught her after all.' Leo haughtily said in his mind.
"Your face screams that you're not thinking something good. Snap out of it and help Maui." Noticing the look on Leo's face, Moana couldn't help but comment on it.
"We'll distract here and use that to sail past Te Ka. Do you see that gap over there?" Pointing at the far west side of the island where Te Ka is residing, Moana nodded her head.
"Sail there. I'll make sure to turn Te Ka''s attention away from it. Now go." With that being said, Leo wasted no time and jumped from the deck of the ship, heading right back in the air.
"Maui! A lift!" Shouting loudly which was thankfully heard by Maui, the aforementioned individual quickly used his eagle form to rush towards Leo's falling figure.
*Screech!*
"Gotcha!" With a loud shrilling scream, Maui grabbed Leo on his shoulders using his talons.
"Nice!" With a smile, both Maui and Leo headed towards Te Ka.
"We need to distract her from the west side." Leo shouted at Maui.
Without asking why, Maui replied.
"No problem!"
With a somersault dive, Maui let go of Leo, letting him fall towards Te Ka.
Once again dodging all of her attempts, Leo smoothly landed on her shoulders before running across her entire arm despite stepping on the burning cracks filled with lava throughout her entire body.
Taking out the Carbine Rifle that he got from a Gacha draw, Leo slid, narrowly dodging Te Ka's palm before pointing the M4 Carbine Rifle to Te Ka's face.
"Taste this."
*Dadadadadada!*
Pulling the trigger, the rifle spewed countless bullets that pierced through Te Ka's face. Although it didn't do much to her, it was enough to make her face heal and catch her attention.
"Rreoooarr!" Angered, Te Ka shook her entire right arm, trying to throw him away, only to fail as Leo can be seen using the cracks on her body to grab on.
*Shing!*
Releasing his sharp Vibranium claws, like a mountaineer, used it to climb up.
'Why does it feel like I'm Kratos whenever he uses his blades to climb a wall or a titan's body.' Leo said in his mind, chuckling at the process.
A few lava rocks kept falling on Leo's face and shoulders, which he could've avoided but considering his suit's capability, he kind of needs as much Kinetic Energy as possible.
"Rroooaar!" Once again attempting to smack Leo, Te Ka was about to succeed, unfortunately for Te Ka, Leo is not alone.
"Te Ka!" Shouting with all of his might, Maui transformed back into his human form while mid-air and much to Te Ka's pain, Maui used his magical hook to slice the entire arm of Te Ka, letting it fall to the ocean.
"Raah!" Seeing that Maui just brought him enough time, Leo used his entire strength to not only lift himself up but to also jump high.
*Crack!*
Finally caught back up to Te Ka's shoulders, Leo didn't waste any time and ran towards Te Ka's face.
With a single swipe of his claws, five slice marks appeared deep on Te Ka's eyes.
"Rraaggghh!" Finally having enough of being played around and getting so much pain, Te Ka yelled in all of her might, which confused both Maui and Leo.
Only for their confusion to be replaced by shock when a huge heatwave that even Leo's panther habit couldn't handle, swept around then, burning the nearby ocean, almost revealing the seabed, fortunately it didn't take long for it to be filled back up again by the ocean water.
Meanwhile, when Leo landed on the ocean, he sensed that his Panther Habit is filled to the brim with Kinetic Energy, already reaching its limits.
In this state, Leo must release it or else the damages that he'll receive next wouldn't be absorbed anymore, instead it would be transferred to Leo's physical body.
And what does that mean with Te Ka hot on his ass right now? Death.
Just as Leo was about to release the Kinetic Energy, he was suddenly interrupted by the shining green light from Te Ka's behind.
Knowing what it means, Leo sighed in relief. He could finally take a rest.
However, he still needs to release the Kinetic Energy that his Panther Habit has absorbed.
'I don't want to make a noise, so I'll just do this quietly.' Leo then a bit further away from the battlefield.
At the same time, he heard a soft voice singing from a distance behind him, which is obviously none other than Moana.
"Where are you going?" Hearing Maui's voice, Leo looked up and saw him in his eagle form.
"I just needed to release something." Leo replied' resuming his swimming.
Suddenly, Maui's face contorted into slight disgust and disappointment.
"Leo, we're in the middle of a battle, we don't have time for 'that'." Recognizing the expression on his face, Leo quickly retorted him.
"Don't you dare continue what you're thinking! It's not what you think." Leo pointed his finger at Maui, who for god knows where, out of the blue decided to annoy Leo at this moment.
"Oh really? If it isn't what I'm thinking. Then release it in front of me then." Despite assuming the figure of an eagle, Leo could still make out a smirk out of his face.
"....Since you said so, don't blame me then." Smirking under the mask, Leo finally let go of the stored Kinetic Energy.
*Silence*
