Title - The POV of Said Ruthless God

Leucadius POV

From a highly advanced Technologically enhanced room, I sat lazily as my calm gaze swept through the many screens in front of him with the kids pouring out of their respective compartment in the central area.

The Central area was also divided into several compartments, each designed for different aspects of their future training. Their bodies were already remarkably strong considering that they were walking under a X3-G-Force.

Compared to a normal human, they were already superhumans closing in on the 'strongest' warriors of all times. The Spartans. However, compared to the Spartans, they were more formidable in the night due to their enhanced and evolved visual perception.

Some were forced to learn to hide their presence using breathing techniques they formulated respectively, with their diets consisting of whatever they could scavenge from the environment, including moss growing on the walls and rotten foods.

As I observed, the first year was the hardest. The children were thrust into a world where survival was the only goal. Poisonous insects and snakes were a constant threat, forcing them to adapt quickly.

The weak perished, but those who survived grew stronger, their bodies developing resistance to the toxins while forming internal body parts to adapt to the situation.

In the second year, the children began to come to an understanding of their situation, forcing them to have their mental acuity tested and vetted to be evolved.

With their mentality tested and made to have the 'Will' to survive, it was only a matter of time before they were able to think faster and quicker than an average 14 year old.

While a normal kid ages mentally at a certain rate, theirs is forced to adapt and evolve at an alarming rate. They learnt to observe calmly, analyze and make meaning from nearly every single thing about their surroundings.

It became a competition in which some were able to project their awareness outside of their bodies, and with that awareness came more curiosity. A curiosity they were forced to satiate by themselves.

One would look Upon this series of actions as quite ruthless but I saw it as utilizing an already predestined possibility. The kids were destined to die within a set timeframe. I may have altered their fate but I gave them the opportunity to fight for their lives.

Those hundred who survived were the lucky ones, however this wasn't the end. Initially I was hoping for just one supreme assassin amongst them. Host a free for all on the last day of their five years stay.

I can already imagine how strong the assassin will be. Not even the ones Trained by the Hand or the Chaste could ever match. An Iron Fist, very possible. However, were it a full fledged five years assassin…it'll be less possible.

I was sure about this fact. I've been to one of the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven under the Thirty Three Heavens. The Seven Capital cities were: K'un-Lun, K'un-Zi, Tiger Island, Peng Lai, Z'Gambo, Kingdom of Spiders and Under City.

There was also the Eight City. A brutish hellish realm that served as a prison for evils of their respective dimensions.

These Seven Capital Cities of Heaven were hidden city states spread across the World. Every 88 years the cities merge into one, creating The Heart of Heaven, in which the City sends their best warrior, each a member of the Immortals.

Leucadius had once attended such a competition. It was there he discovered that the competition was being observed by the actual Immortals…the Xians.

Apparently, over 1,000,000 years ago, Yu Huang, the Jade Emperor had discovered a couple habitable dimensions and threw in some Homo-Erectus in to see how they'll adapt.

Of course these dimensions had indigenous inhabitants who fought for many years. Of the many lower cities under the thirty three heaven. Only these seven are known as capital cities.

Similar to the usual clichés, there was always an immortal who descended and taught the humans various forms of martial and immortal art. The same was also done to the opposing race.

The two races fought and either one race won or they learnt to live together. However, of the most notable lower cities/dimensions, these seven were the truly acknowledged strongest.

At the moment, I was sure any one of these kids would give those guys a run for their money. And this was when they hadn't even learnt proper Martial art.

Well, a wise Martial master once said. The foundation of martial arts was a strong body.

Humming to myself, I shrunk the room I was in down causing a bigger room to come into view showing a well decorated medieval palace room. Standing up I turned and took in the view outside the castle.

Of course it wasn't close, but with my Eyes, I could see comfortably. The area around the castle was quite desolate in comparison to more than a millennia ago back when Solomon sat on the throne.

This area was currently under the control of the Abbasid Caliphate and this castle was merely one I intended to use for now. Depending on how invested I become in this new experiment of mine, I might just create an age long family on earth.

Creating a human wasn't hard after all. With the technology I had now, creating a fresh Human was only a thought away.

Yet…

"Have you all made up your minds?" I said taking on a deep and slow tone while addressing no one in particular, however, just behind me, a group of ten men were on their knees while sweating profusely. "Will you work for me..? That's the question…your answer though… would you help me decide whether I'll go about this the easy way or the hard way?"

Turning around, I gave a small smile to the men who just happened to be a group of bandits that have been bothering the market places around the castle.

They were petty bandits and I was thinking of making them the tutors to those kids for the remainder of the years underground. Some might ask…why pick a group of bandits?

The answer was simple…They won't be missed. They were already as good as dead to me so a little mental formatting and physical reconstruction will give me ten perfect pseudo-assassins.

In truth, there's no such thing as the perfect assassin, there's only the better one. Not even Hermes and Nezha, despite their speed, could boast the ability to actually carry out an assassination perfectly.

I wasn't aiming for something bothering the Divine, but at the very least, to Humans, they should embody Reapers. Hopefully, not even the early Twenty first century weapons would be able to kill them considering their bodily speeds, reaction and strength.

As for the Ten men, upon formatting their memories, I would directly engrave the mastery of 10 different skills of an assassin while also increasing their advanced knowledge of the other skills.

1. Stealth and infiltration

2. Hand to hand combat

3. Marksmanship

4. Surveillance and recon

5. Escape and evasion.

6. Weapon's technique

7. Mental resilience

8. Disguise and Deception

9. Explosives and Sabotage

10. Psychological manipulation

At the end of the training programme, all assassin trainee should have a total mastery of at least three of these skills and the best ten would then chosen from those who are capable enough to defeat any of these ten men.

"The caliphate will hear of this!" One of the men who seemed to be the leader roared while glaring at me with bloodshot eyes. It was funny thing with the Humans. No matter the era or place, they were a few who assumed the Earth belonged to them.

Even my own region was now a place where I have to be 'scared' of retribution for Acting as I pleased. "Hmm. We'll see about that…you however, won't." I said and made my way towards him. He looked like someone with a good leadership quality, perhaps naming him Number One would be fitting.

"Y-you! What are you doing!? Get away from me this instant!" He roared while trying to get up from his feet and retreat, however the gravity being applied on them prevented that.

Upon reaching him, I slowly raised my right hand while making for his face. The scene reminded me of those evil manipulators who'll approach a kid in a dark alley to either brainwash and kidnap them…the thought made me chuckle slightly, but that chuckle elicited a sense of terror from the others.

Who asked me to be able to feel their emotions..?

He struggled against the force pinning him down, but his efforts were futile. The fear in his eyes was almost palpable.

"You won't be needing your old memories where you're going," I said, my voice calm and measured. "Allow me to give you a new purpose."

I placed my hand on his forehead, feeling the surge of both cosmic and Psychic energy flow through me and into his body and mind. His eyes widened in horror, and he tried to scream, but no sound came out. I closed my eyes, focusing on the task at hand.

Inside his mind, memories flickered like scenes from a film. His childhood, his rise to banditry, the lives he had taken, the wealth he had stolen—all of it was laid bare before me. I began to erase them, one by one, like wiping chalk from a blackboard.

The man's resistance was strong, but it was no match for my will. I replaced his memories with new ones, carefully crafted to suit my needs. I engraved the mastery of ten assassin skills into his mind.

As I engraved these new skills into his body and mind, I could see the changes taking place within him. His muscles twitched, his breathing steadied, and his eyes took on a new sharpness. The old memories were gone, replaced by a single, burning purpose: to serve me and perfect the art of assassination.

When I finally removed my hand, the transformation was complete. The man who stood before me was no longer the leader of a bandit gang. He was Number One, my first perfected assassin.

"Rise," I commanded. I couldn't be bothered to remember his former name or give him a new one.

He stood, his movements fluid and controlled. There was no trace of fear or resistance in his eyes now. Only unwavering loyalty and a deadly determination. His aura transformed into ones that would make King David's Trio quiver in their boots…or not.

King David's strongest trio, known as the "Three Mighty Warriors" or the "Three," were part of his elite group of warriors called the "Mighty Men" or "David's Mighty Warriors." These three warriors were Josheb, Eleazar and Shammah.

Josheb wielded his spear against 800 Moabite men, whom he killed in one encounter. Eleazar stood his ground and fought the Philistines when the rest of the Israelites retreated. He struck down the Philistines until his hand grew tired and froze to the sword.

It was a spectacular battle that even I was impressed.

The last was Shammah. When the Philistines banded together at a place where there was a field full of lentils, Israel's troops fled from them. But Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field. He defended it and struck the Philistines down,

These feats highlighted their incredible bravery, skill in battle, and their crucial role in securing victories for David and Israel. How could these guys hope to ever compare?

I thought as I threw Number One and the other nine a disdainful glance "You have a new purpose," I said, my voice low and commanding. "You will train the children and ensure they become the most formidable assassins the world has ever seen. Do you understand?"

"Yes, master," he replied, his voice steady and emotionless.

"Good," I said, turning away and walking to the other nine.

Minutes later, ten unfeeling and expert assassins stood before me. "Your training begins now."

As I walked back to my observation room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. The experiment was progressing well. The children would be shaped into perfect weapons, and the world would soon know the wrath of those forged in the fires I personally Kindled.
