Kapitel 74: ifud

The morning sun dripped honey onto the forest floor, dappling the path ahead with warmth. Chen Yang hummed a nonsensical tune, one born from boredom and the rhythmic crunch of leaves underfoot. It went something like this:

Suddenly, a jarring sound ripped through the peaceful melody. A loud BOOM, like a giant had tripped over a mountain, echoed from the south. Chen Yang's carefree tune evaporated faster than morning mist.

"Is someone fighting here?" he muttered, eyebrows furrowing. Curiosity, laced with a healthy dose of caution, battled within him.

Without hesitation, but with a cautious gait, Chen Yang veered off the path. He moved silently through the trees, senses on high alert, following the direction of the earth-shattering sound.
