Kapitel 83: Chapter 83: Ryōzanpaku

"We'll train you hard until you master Shurite and Naha-Te."

The massive man almost two meters tall, smiled at the boy who was breathing heavily.

"So be it; at first, you'll only get used to Shirute to see how generous I am."

He said it as if he were showing mercy to Kenichi.

Kenichi just clenched his fist with a confident expression on his face.

"Sakaki-san is always like that."

Miu said to me.

"Anthony-san, what martial arts do you want to learn? Since you want to meet with Grandpa, you already know this?"

"I don't want to learn martial arts because it's pointless for me right now."

Anthony casually waved his hand.

"Loud words, young man..."

Then a short guy in a hat and with long mustaches... who was holding a camera in his hands and was now taking a picture of her butt.

She immediately covered it and clearly understood what was happening.

"Ma-san, pervert."

Miu muttered.

"Oh, Miu, a blow to the heart..."

Kensei Ma grabbed his chest and felt as though lightning had struck him at the same time.

"Let's go, Anthony-san. I'll take you to Grandpa."

Miu ignored his words.

We met a man who was definitely two meters tall, had dark skin, and had bandages on his arms as I followed Miu.

"This is Apachai and he's harmless."

Miu said with a smile and then froze in place with a worried look on her face.

"Oh, I forgot my name... I'm sorry, I'm Miu Furinji."

Miu apologized to me for her negligence.

"Apa?"

Apachai tilted his head in as if asking what was going on.

"I want to meet her grandpa. I'm Anthony Luthor."

I stretched out my hand for a handshake, and he shook it back with a smile without hesitation.

That force could only shatter an ordinary person's arm.

"Are you also a master of martial arts?"

"Uh-huh."

Apachai nodded to confirm his words and then made a sudden leap and kicked the nearest dummy with his foot, simply smashing it to pieces.

"Muay Thai."

Apachai said.

"Are you all masters of martial arts here?"

I asked Miu when Apachai went about his business after the demonstration.

"Mmm, I'm not a master yet, like Kenichi. But yes, all the others besides us are the best in their field."

Miu assured me.

"Oh, that sounds intriguing."

I couldn't help but say.

A place with so many masters seems wonderful for training—not for me, but for the girls.

Albedo can be called a master of fencing because his style of swordsmanship is Favonius.

It was an adapted style based on speed, agility, precision, and the protection of peace.

On the other hand, Bang is a martial arts master who effortlessly destroyed the threat at the Dragon level at his peak.

I'm not against training, but only when it makes sense.

I like training with gods in the Trial Arena, where I occasionally get punched, and gods sometimes get punched.

...

[3rd POV]

The Legendary Master briefly listened to the loud sound he had heard many times before.

That's a title that literally only a few people have, and anyone can count them on one hand.

It was the sound of shattered ground underfoot.

"Hmm, guests?"

Hayato briefly thought.

Ryōzanpaku is not officially considered the best dojo in Japan even though "monsters" live here.

This is simply because the dōjō has hardly trained anyone, and the masters are all unique.

Their Ki makes all possible students scared, and people who haven't studied martial arts can still feel a huge amount of Ki, and that scares them.

However, they are still holding on despite their dojo experiencing tough times.

Their size and skills would make it easy for them to get contracts from the yakuza, the mafia, the government, and many other groups and make millions of yen or even more.

However, all the masters of Ryōzanpaku despise that idea.

This is their main difference from Yami, an organization that doesn't refuse any job, and they have their own masters too.

Their path is called Katsujinken, which means the Saving Fist, based on their belief that martial arts practitioners should not kill an opponent, even if their own lives are at risk.

That every life is extremely important, and a martial arts master has no right to take it.

At the same time, Yami practices Satsujinken, the Killing Fist.

It's a path of blood, murder, and destruction of everything in the way of their martial arts.

"Gramps, there's a guest for you. He says he's familiar with your disciple."

Miu entered the house.

"A familiar disciple?"

Hayato's gaze fell on Anthony.

He immediately felt something amiss when glancing at him.

Hayato didn't feel anything from Anthony, but something more subtle... his combat intuition—warned him.

Not long ago, Sanzaemon called him, asked strange questions about some people, and described them.

He told Sanzaemon that he didn't know any of them.

They were friends of Erina.

Miu could have become her friend if they lived closer. This man now matches what Senzaemon described over the phone.

"In reality, you're even more bigger."

Hayato didn't scare Anthony at all.

Nonetheless, he stands over two meters tall which typically scares people.

Hayato looked into Anthony's eyes and... all his combat experience.

Then Ki began to flow faster through his body, filling every muscle with energy.

Miu immediately noticed the changes and felt uneasy about such an enormous amount of Ki.

After all, she's nowhere near Hayato's level. She collapsed, and her eyes rolled back in the first second.

Therefore, she fell down, and her eyes rolled back in the very first second.

...

"Are you okay?"

I placed my hand on Miu's shoulder to shield her from the old man's suffocating Ki.

That's what it means for a fighter to have an intuition that comes from fighting a lot.

He literally felt the danger from me deep inside even if he couldn't understand it.

"I-I'm f-fine,"

Miu stuttered, nodding, and only then did Hayato realize what he was doing.

"Hey, are you trying to send your granddaughter to nirvana?"

I "politely" inquired.

Well, I could have been polite, but he almost sent his granddaughter on a one-way trip for some reason.

"Oh, Miu."

Hayato immediately rushed to his granddaughter to check on her condition.

She felt better after I removed the pressure, but her pale face indicated she was still uncomfortable.

It wasn't even a second before the room door broke into pieces.

There were serious-looking martial arts masters in the doorway that I had seen on the outside.

It was primarily unfamiliar people a black-haired girl with a sword and a black-haired man in hakama.

"What's going on?"

The serious Akisame Koetsuji who also rushed in with everyone else asked in a serious tone.

The masters who rushed in all looked straight at me with quite understandable suspicion.

They were all ready to fight.

"What? Am I to blame because the old man attacked and started pressuring everyone with his Ki here?"

I shrugged with innocence... Of course they didn't believe me.

"Hmm, it's really my fault."

Hayato spoke up and stood up straight.

"I couldn't control my instincts."

"Instincts?"

Kensei asked while looking at me with the mustache and hat who still enjoys photographing schoolgirls' bottoms.

He didn't seem like a pervert at that time, but he seemed serious.

Kensei immediately noticed that Miu wasn't feeling too well and began to provide her with professional assistance.

Meanwhile, I stepped back a couple of steps from the scene.

"Old man, you released such a burst of Ki that it would have alarmed all the masters on the island. What kind of instinct is that?"

Akisame shrugged slightly.

"You're the same Luthor, I presume?"

Hayato looked at me with his eyes reflecting mixed emotions, but there was also a desire to fight that he restrained.

"Yes, a friend of Erina Nakiri. I wanted to inquire about teaching a few more people martial arts."

I said... and with alchemy, I conjured up a chair behind me, where I sat.

After a moment of silence, each master looked at the chair as if they had seen a miracle.

Hayato clenched his fists, glaring menacingly at the chair and me sitting on it.

"So, are you in?"

I continued looking at the still-pale Miu, waved my hand, and immediately put all the masters on edge.

Only Hayato didn't move from his spot.

After that, all the paleness vanished from Miu's face, and she started blinking rapidly.

"Grandpa's... a fool."

Miu muttered quietly.

Hayato immediately embraced his granddaughter and ran his hand over her voice.

"Sorry, Miu,"

He apologized.

"I'm ready to take on these students... if you tell me who you are. You're definitely not an ordinary guy."

He had some conscience after all.

"Conditions?"

I smirked.

"I've already told you my name. What else do you want? Titles? I don't have one, but I'm something of a martial artist myself."

"Your job?"

Apachai pointed to a chair.

"That's classified,"

I smiled at him.

"I see your dōjō is barely making ends meet..."

I understood that these words hit them from the expressions of some of those present.

"I'm willing to pay one million yen per hour of training for each girl separately."

I stated the price.

"A m-million?"

Miu's eyes widened.

"Th-that's not necessary; Kenichi gets only five hundred..."

Suddenly, she was silenced by the same "pervert".

"A million is a million."

He said so, and the other masters seemed to agree as well.

"If you say you're a martial arts master, why don't you teach them yourself?"

Hayato asked.

"I'm not a teacher."

I told the plain truth.

Bang himself started his own dōjō and taught people, but I haven't gained those skills yet because the assimilation isn't complete.

"I want to spar with you."

Hayato said while looking straight at me.

These words surprised the other masters as his proposal amazed them greatly.

It's as if he was exuding a fighting spirit... What intuition the old man has.

"Again, everything is sliding into primitive brawling."

I closed my eyes for a moment.

"I'm up for it, but let's step aside; I don't want to accidentally destroy your dōjō."

"Grandpa!"

Apachai exclaimed while pointing at me with his fist.

"Hmm, I agree with him. It would be better if we fought him first. This young man said that martial arts are meaningless to him."

The short martial arts master said.

"I'm Kensei Ma, master of all Chinese Kenpō."

"The old man looks like he's itching to go, and something's fishy here. My name is Shio Sakaki, and I am the master of all karate styles."

Shio introduced himself.

Kenichi himself was nervously glancing at the broken door and standing behind all the masters.

"This is pointless if my martial instincts don't deceive me."

Hayato shook his head.

"Uh-huh."

I said this while standing behind all the masters who were already there.

This caused them to turn around quickly and look around in shock as if they didn't understand how I did it.

Kenichi even fell on his backside when I appeared before him.

"It's not about you guys. You're all strong... but let's say some circumstances brought me here... Seriously?"

I extended my hand into which Apachai's foot crashed with a resounding thud as if he were trying to check if I was real.

"Strong..."

Apachai nodded while lowering his leg.

"Fight!"

Apachai's eyes lit up, and they indeed seemed to emit a lot of ki, creating the impression that his eyes were glowing.

"I told you this...oh well, you're all focused on martial arts and strength. What else could I expect?"

He struck even harder while putting all of himself into the blow, but he knows several fighting styles; this isn't his strongest.

I met it again with my palm open, and his ki-filled hand could break steel, but what surprised him was that he hit like he was hitting a wall.

It's usually the wall's fault, but his hand couldn't do anything.

As a result, the shockwave from that blow went through the wall and floor, causing cracks to appear.

"I'm next!"

Kensei Ma exclaimed and immediately tried to use his martial arts to strike me.

He was faster than Apachai, but none of his strikes were aimed at causing injury.

"Boring..."

I yawned demonstratively and caught his hand, gently guiding it behind his back and pressing him to the floor, forming a hole.

"Are you alive in there? I tried to be careful."

"Good..."

He responded from the hole.

At the same moment, I tilted my head slightly while dodging a shuriken.

This time, I was attacked by the previously silent brunette. She attacked from a point where an ordinary person shouldn't have noticed her.

"What's the name of the beautiful kunoichi?"

I asked while catching her blade with my hand.

"Shigure..."

Shigure said, then tried to kick me in the ear, but my palm blocked her strike, and I felt the softness of her leg.

After catching her by the leg, I tied it with a rope created by alchemy.

"Do you want to try again?"

I looked at the masters who were ready to attack again.

They had battle smiles on their faces.

As for Kenichi... he just stared blankly, unable to physically keep up with what was happening.

A magical seal appeared above them for a moment, and I transported everyone to a small island near Japan immediately after.

The dojo had already taken enough damage even though the masters themselves weren't fighting at full force.

They are definitely martial arts addicts.
